Product Description:This single flora honey is sourced from Sundarbans, world’s largest coastal mangrove forests and UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is situated on the delta of the rivers Ganga, Brahmaputra and Meghna at the Bay of Bengal.
This honey from the flowers of wild Karanj tree is collected by the tribals of the forests. You will see the pink flowers of Karanj all over Bengaluru and is a plant native to Asia. Karanj has high medicinal benefits in Ayurvedic medicine especially to treat skin diseases and the honey from this flower has a very unique taste.
This honey is very thick, viscous, creamy and crystallises at even slightly low temperatures because of low moisture content. Our honey is also natural & unprocessed and is free of adulteration & pollution.
Usage:Apart from the regular use of honey, you can also use this honey for baking and sauces.
Shelf Life: 18 months.
Storage and Handling Instructions: Do not refrigerate. Honey is primarily made of natural reducing sugars fructose and glucose and the glucose can crystalize at below room temperatures. This is a natural process and does not affect the quality of honey. This actually gives a good indication of the purity of your honey. If crystallization occurs, place in warm water for a few minutes to melt the crystals or consume as-is.
